STRAWBERRY PASTRIES
2-8oz. cans refrigerated crescent rolls
2 -8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 C. sugar
4 C strawberries, sliced,
1 egg white, beaten
fresh strawberries

Press the dough from one pkg. of rolls into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Spread on dough. With rolling pin, roll out the 2nd package of dough into a 9 x 11 rectangle. Place sliced strawberries on top of cream cheese mixture. Top with rolled dough. Brush with egg white. Sprinkle top with 1 T. sugar Bake 35 min. at 325. Serve warm with fresh strawberries for garnish. Makes 24 small or 16 lg. portions.
